Abstract:
An infant carrier 10 according to the present invention has: a holding section 30 for holding an infant; a first cable member 52 that is provided to a first edge section 32 of the holding section 30; a first winding means 42 that has at least one end section of the first cable member 32 connected thereto, and winds the first cable member 32; a second cable member 54 that is provided to a second edge section 34 of the holding section 30; and a second winding means 44 that has at least one end section of the second cable member 54 connected thereto, and winds the second cable member 54. By winding the first cable member 52, the first winding means 44 shortens the lengthwise direction length of the first edge section 32, and by winding the second cable member 54, the second winding means 44 shortens the lengthwise direction length of the second edge section 34. In this infant carrier 10, the lengths of the edge sections of the holding section 30 can be adjusted easily.
