Abstract:
This in-vehicle device comprises a communication interface, a first determination unit that determines whether or not a switching condition for switching an operation mode is met, a first switching unit that switches the operation mode from a sleep mode to a low power consumption mode when it is determined that the switching condition is met, a second determination unit that determines whether or not designation information that designates the in-vehicle device as the object to be activated is included in a frame that the communication interface has received through a communication line while the operation mode is the low power consumption mode, and a second switching unit that switches the operation mode from the low power consumption mode to a regular mode when it is determined by the second determination unit that the designated information is included in the received frame.
