Abstract:
This technology relates to an imaging device, an imaging method, and a program which, when photographing is performed by using a plurality of imaging devices, enable photographing such that the centers of exposure of the respective imaging devices are synchronized, and enable acquiring a composite image in which blurring is suppressed. The imaging device is provided with: a reception unit which receives a signal indicating a timing when photographing by another sensor enters the center of exposure; and a setting unit which sets a time point when a synchronization signal for instructing the start of readout of a frame is generated, on the basis of the time point when the signal has been received. The center of exposure is positioned at the center in the transverse direction and at an optional position in the longitudinal direction, in an image to be captured. This technology can be applied to an imaging device in a case where photographing is performed by a plurality of the imaging devices.
