Abstract:
Provided are an imaging device, a flicker detection method, and a flicker detection program, whereby flicker from light sources having different frequencies can be differentiated and detected by simple processing and without changing exposure time. A digital camera comprises: an imaging element drive unit 10 that causes an imaging element 5 to capture images by alternately using a first frame rate and a second frame rate; and a flicker detection unit 20. The total of the length of a frame interval T1 for the first frame rate and the length of a frame interval T2 for the second frame rate is a natural-number multiple of 1/100 s. The flicker detection unit 20 detects the presence of 50-Hz flicker and the presence of 60-Hz flicker, on the basis of the degree of correlation within a set of captured image signals obtained during the frame interval T1 and on the basis of the degree of correlation within a set of captured image signals obtained during the frame intervals T1, T2.
