Abstract:
The present invention provides an imaging device, an imaging device body, and a method for controlling the imaging device with which it is possible to appropriately select a first and a second program diagram. A subject information acquisition unit (40) acquires a subject distance difference that is a difference in distance between a main subject and a subject farthest away from the main subject on the basis of an imaging signal from an imaging element (32). A program chart storage unit (54) stores a first program diagram (P1) in which an aperture value is fixed to a maximum aperture value at a first exposure value EV1 or less and a second program diagram (P2) in which an aperture value is fixed to a maximum aperture value at a second exposure value EV2 larger than the first exposure value EV1 or less. An imaging exposure determination unit (56) selects the second program diagram (P2) when, while an apodization (APD) filter (26) is disposed in an optical path, the subject distance difference is equal to or greater than a threshold and an imaging scene is one in which a blurred image is easily generated, and selects the first program diagram (P1) when the subject distance difference is less than the threshold and an imaging scene is one in which a blurred image is unlikely to be generated.
