Abstract:
An illumination control device (100) comprises: a road information acquisition unit (110) that acquires information on roads including information on a distance (L) from a vehicle (1) to a connection (C1) between a first road (S1) on which the vehicle is traveling and a second road (S2) crossing the first road and connecting to the first road, and information on the shape of the second road; a sight direction acquisition unit (130) that acquires information on a sight direction (D1, D2) of a driver (3) of the vehicle; and an illumination control unit (140) that controls, on the basis of the distance from the vehicle to the connection, an illumination device (40) of the vehicle into a first mode in which the illumination device illuminates the connection, and, when the sight direction of the driver is directed to the second road while the illumination device is in the first mode, controls the illumination device into a second mode in which the illumination device illuminates a range (H2) extending to the connection from a part (A1) in which a virtual line (V1) along the sight direction of the driver overlaps with the second road in plan view.
