Title:
HUMAN ASTROVIRUS INFECTION RECEPTOR AND APPLICATION OF SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/013618
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a way of identifying human astrovirus (HAstV) receptor molecules and developing an HAstV infection control means. The inventors have found that an FCGRT receptor protein and a B2M protein are HAstV receptor molecules. The inventors have succeeded in providing recombinant mammalian cells and recombinant mammals into which genes for encoding the HAstV receptor molecules are introduced, and a virus production method, a chemical agent screening method, and the like which use the same, and in further providing an HAstV detection method, a chemical agent screening method, and the like which use a solid-phase support that has the HAstV receptor molecules fixed thereon.
