Abstract:
The present application provides a housing assembly, a battery, and a battery manufacturing method. The housing assembly is used for packaging a battery cell and comprises a housing, a top cover and lower plastic. The housing is provided with an opening, and the top cover is used for packaging the opening, such that an accommodating space for accommodating the battery cell is formed in the housing assembly. The lower plastic and the top cover are arranged in a stacked manner, and the orthographic projection of the lower plastic on the top cover is completely located on the top cover. After the top cover packages the housing, the lower plastic is accommodated in the accommodating space, and in a direction perpendicular to the stacking direction of the top cover and the lower plastic, there is a gap between the lower plastic and the housing. Moreover, when laser welding is performed on the housing and the top cover, the highest temperature generated by heating on the lower plastic of a laser which is injected into the housing from the outer surface of the housing distant from the battery cell to weld the housing and the top cover is lower than the melting point of the lower plastic. The housing assembly, the battery, and the battery manufacturing method provided by the present application facilitate the packaging of a housing assembly, and can improve the safety of a battery during installation.
