Abstract:
A honing tool (1) is provided with: a grinding part (13); a tool main body (12) comprising a first region (121), a second region (122) with a window portion (122a) through which the grinding part (13) is inserted, and a third region (123) fixed on a rotational main axis; an external cylinder (17) having an elongated cylindrical shape fitted around the first region (121) of the tool main body (112); and an extension rod (11) having a bar-like shape inserted inside the tool main body (12). The tool main body (12) further comprises grooves (121c, 122c) for discharging a grinding fluid poured into a gap formed between an outer wall of the tool main body (12) and an inner wall of the external cylinder (17). The external diameter of the external cylinder (17) is no greater than the external diameter of the second region (122).
