Abstract:
Provided is a hoist and an elevator for which bearing replacement work can easily be performed. The hoist comprises: a frame to which a stator is provided; a main shaft supported by the frame; a bearing attached to the main shaft; and a rotary body that is supported in a rotatable manner by the main shaft via the bearing. The rotary body includes: a sheave around which a main rope is wound; and a rotor that faces the stator. Further, the rotary body includes: a housing that fits to the bearing and can rotate around the main shaft; and a drum which is coupled with the housing and to which the sheave and the rotor are attached.
