The present invention relates to the field of heat exchange, and specifically relates to a heat exchanger, a heat exchanger control method, and an air conditioner. The present invention aims to solve the problems of incomplete defrosting during defrosting and uneven liquid distribution during refrigeration of existing heat exchangers. For this objective, the heat exchanger of the present invention comprises a first delivery pipeline, a second delivery pipeline, a first heat exchange pipeline, a second heat exchange pipeline, and a pipeline control unit; the first delivery pipeline and the second delivery pipeline are respectively connected to the first heat exchange pipeline and the second heat exchange pipeline; and the pipeline control unit is configured to enable the first heat exchange pipeline and the second heat exchange pipeline to be connected in series or in parallel. According to the present invention, the two heat exchange pipelines can be connected in parallel or in series by means of the pipeline control unit, so that when the heat exchanger is in a cooling or heating state, refrigerants are in different flow paths, thereby improving the heat exchange performance of the heat exchanger; and a refrigerant flow path when the heat exchanger is defrosting is different from a flow path when the heat exchanger is heating, which improves the defrosting efficiency.
