Abstract:
Provided is a guide for a visually impaired person that can be stably installed in a narrow area, such as the floor of a rest room, without occupying a large installation area. The present invention provides a guide 1 for a visually impaired person which is installed on a floor 7 of a building or a facility. The guide 1 for a visually impaired person comprises a sheet-like or planar body portion 11 made of rubber, and one or a plurality of securing members 2 that are partly buried in the body portion 11 on the lower-surface side of the body portion 11, and that are used for securing the guide 1 for a visually impaired person to the floor 7. Each of the one or a plurality of securing members 2 comprises a head portion 23 which is partly buried in the body portion 11, and a pin portion 21 which extends from the head portion 23 and is put into a hole 71 provided in the floor 7. The lower surface of the body portion 11 is substantially flat. The upper surface of the body portion 11 is partly angled such that the body portion 11 becomes thinner towards the end of the body portion 11.
