Abstract:
A gripping implement according to the technique of the present disclosure grips a gripped object on the basis of the principles of driven kirigami, wherein the gripping implement assumes the overall form of a sheet that is approximately (substantially) rhomboid, a slit or a large hole is provided near the center, and a deformation crease for realizing an inside reverse fold or an outside reverse fold can easily be imparted due to the slit or the large hole.
