Abstract:
Provided is a grease composition containing a base oil (A) and a urea-based thickener (B), wherein: the base oil (A) contains a poly-α-olefin (PAO); the urea-based thickener (B) is one or more selected from diurea compounds represented by general formula (b1) [R1-NHCONH-R3-NHCONH-R2 (b1)]; in general formula (b1), the following requirement (1) is satisfied, where an X molar equivalent is the linear hydrocarbon group content and a Y molar equivalent is the alicyclic hydrocarbon group content in R1 and R2; and the grease composition has increased consistency at low temperature (−40°C). Requirement (1): the X/Y ratio is 2/1-10/1.
