Abstract:
The present invention makes it easy to cool an inverter and to take countermeasures for noise prevention, etc. A generator 1 comprises: an engine 12; an inverter 21; and a cooling fan 15 all accommodated inside an exterior body 10, wherein: a predetermined cover 10F that constitutes a part of the exterior body 10 is provided with an air intake port 10K at which cooling air inlets of the generator 1 are disposed close to each other; and the inverter 21 is disposed at a position where the inverter 21 is directly exposed to cooling air caused to flow in from the air intake port 10K by the cooling fan 15, the position being located between the engine 12 and the air intake port 10K.
