The present invention relates to the field of power generation, power transformation or power distribution. Provided are a generator system based on a high-frequency isolation matrix converter, and an adjustment and control method. The generator system based on a high-frequency isolation matrix converter comprises a permanent magnet synchronous generator, a high-frequency matrix converter, a center-tapped high-frequency matrix transformer and a full-bridge converter, wherein an output port of the permanent magnet synchronous generator is connected to a post-stage high-frequency matrix converter; and a three-phase input of the high-frequency matrix converter is connected to the permanent magnet synchronous motor. The most common voltage-source-type devices on the market are used, thereby ensuring the cost and reliability of the devices; a common-drain or common-source connection of existing devices is not required, thereby reducing the on-resistance which is additionally increased due to the series connection of the devices; and a complex multi-step commutation method is not required, and by means of a simplified commutation strategy, the additional controller overheads can be omitted, thereby reducing the probability of a commutation failure, and thus enhancing the reliability of a system.
