Abstract:
This flap gate 1 comprises: a door body 10 that opens and closes an opening 91; a closing mechanism 30 that causes the door body 10 to close the opening 91; and a float 54 (water level detection part) for detecting the water level. In the case of damming the flow of water from a first water zone A to a second water zone B, the closing mechanism 30 causes the door body 10 to close the opening 91 when the water lever detected by the float 54 reaches a predetermined water level. The float 54 detects the water level of the second water zone B.
