Abstract:
This gas engine (1) includes: a frame (2) including a crankcase (21) in which a crankshaft (22) is accommodated; a cylinder (3) protruding from the frame (2); and a cylinder head (4) that is attached to the cylinder (3) and comprises an air supply path (41) and an exhaust path (42). The gas engine (1) also includes a fuel gas valve (51) that is provided to the cylinder head (4) or to an air supply pipe (13) connected to the cylinder head (4) and serves to control the injection of fuel gas into the air supply, an isolation cover (8) forming an isolation chamber (80) in which the cylinder (3), the cylinder head (4), and the fuel gas valve (51) are accommodated between said isolation cover (8) and the frame (2), and a ventilation fan for suctioning the air within the isolation chamber (80).
