Abstract:
Disclosed are a game element display method and apparatus, a computer device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: in response to an event that a first virtual character enters a battle state, replacing a battle association interface element in a thumbnail form displayed on a graphical user interface with a battle association interface element in an expanded form; and then in response to an event that the first virtual character is not in the battle state, restoring the battle association interface element in the expanded form displayed on the graphical user interface into the battle association interface element in the thumbnail form. According to embodiments of the present application, the battle association interface elements of the states corresponding to different game states are selectively displayed on the graphical user interface according to the game state of the first virtual character manipulated by players, so that different interface display information is provided in a targeted mode, and secondary battle information is displayed in a thumbnail manner so as to be distinguished from important battle information, thereby improving the game interaction efficiency of the players, and improving the game experience of the players.
