Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating sarcopenia, comprising a furylthiazole-based compound represented by chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient, and the furylthiazole-based compound has been confirmed to exhibit the effect of ameliorating atrophy of root canals formed in myoblasts, and thus can be useful as a composition for preventing, treating, or ameliorating sarcopenia.
