Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a fucoidan fermentation product, and use thereof for improving the condition of the skin. Since low-molecular weight fucoidan can be induced when fucoidan is fermented using a Lactobacillus sp. strain, the composition according to one embodiment can have the effect of improving the absorption of fucoidan into the skin and the solubility thereof in solvents. In addition, the composition has remarkably better than a fucoidan extract with respect to skin improvement effects such as those of antioxidant activity, improved skin moisturization, improved skin barrier, improved skin regeneration, or skin whitening.
