Abstract:
A forward advancing racing boat. Oarlocks (3) and oarlock pivot structures (4) having relatively high positions are provided on the two sides or middle or other parts of the boat; and the oarlock (3) and an oarblade (5) of a same oar are respectively located on left and right sides of an oar part (2) hold by a boatman; a rower facing forward uses a forward drive method capable of achieving a longer stroke, i.e., using a simple standing-based or fixed-seat-based driving method or a sliding-seat-based driving method; the forward drive method comprises low-hand-position backward drive rowing and high-hand-position forward air recovery; and meanwhile, the direction of force generated by the rower using the low-hand-position backward drive rowing method is completely consistent with the force exerting direction of pushing water backward by the oarblade, such that forward-driving advancing based new rowing or new rowing type dragon boat sports can be achieved.
