Abstract:
Provided is a method that enables estimation of the flow rate of hot water supplied from a hot water supply system to a load. This flow rate estimation device estimates the flow rate of hot water supplied from a hot water supply system equipped with a heat source unit and a hot water tank that stores hot water created by the heat source unit. The flow rate estimation device comprises a flow rate estimation unit that: estimates the inflow rate of hot water into the hot water tank on the basis of a first temperature which is the temperature of water flowing into the heat source unit, a second temperature which is the temperature of hot water supplied from the heat source unit to the hot water tank, and the heating capacity of the heat source unit calculated on the basis of the first temperature, the second temperature, and an outside air temperature; and that estimates the flow rate of the hot water supplied from the hot water tank, on the basis of the inflow rate and a variation in the amount of hot water stored in the hot water tank.
