Abstract:
A flat panel detector with an automatic exposure control function, and a control method. The flat panel detector comprises: a first light conversion layer (2); a first light sensor (3); a first scanning and reading chip (4); and an acquisition control assembly used for automatic exposure control. The control method comprises the steps of: a. before exposure starts, setting a DAEC activated pixel and a target grayscale value V, turning on an exposure switch, and starting exposure; b. performing fast and uninterrupted repeated scanning on a DAEC layer to read grayscale values of M × N pixels, and during each scanning process, calculating an average grayscale value of the DAEC activated pixel, and accumulating the average values which are calculated each time; and c. when the accumulated sum is greater than or equal to the set target value V, a high-voltage generator stopping exposure, and completing automatic exposure control. The scanning and readout time of an acquisition control assembly can be improved, and a high-speed, stable and accurate response of DAEC is realized.
