Abstract:
The purpose is to provide a fire-extinguishing system with which initial fire extinguishing can be carried out in a reliable manner, while avoiding situations in which the fire extinguishing agent is sprayed into a room despite the fact that fire has not actually broken out. A fire-extinguishing device 20 is installed so that a spray opening for spraying a fire-extinguishing agent faces towards an area targeted for extinguishment. An infrared camera 21 and a visible light camera 22 shoot video of the area targeted for extinguishment, and a fire outbreak detection means (a heat detection unit, excluded area storage unit, and decision unit of a home server 23) performs image recognition of the shot video, and detects outbreak of a fire in the area targeted for extinguishment. In the event that outbreak of a fire in the area targeted for extinguishment is detected by the fire outbreak detection means, a web server unit of the home server 23 transmits video to a mobile terminal 24, and if the mobile terminal 24 having received the video and displayed the video on a touch panel 24a transmits an extinguish command signal, an operation command unit of the home server 23 outputs an operation command, and activates the fire-extinguishing device 20.
