Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fiber structure and a fiber-reinforced composite material with which it is possible to suppress variations in fiber density while increasing productivity. A spiral woven fabric of the present invention comprises, in a plan view, a circular inner-edge portion (12a) and a circular outer-edge portion (12b) longer than the inner-edge portion (12a). Warps (13) are twisted yarn obtained by twisting a fiber bundle. In the spiral woven fabric, a direction in which a straight line connecting the inner-edge portion (12a) and the outer-edge portion (12b) at a shortest distance extends is referred to as a radial direction (Y). In the spiral woven fabric, the number of twists of the warp (13) positioned at the inner-edge portion (12a) is smaller than the number of twists of the warp (13) positioned at the outer-edge portion (12b). Further, in the spiral woven fabric, of the warps (13) adjacent to each other in the radial direction, the warp (13) closer to the outer-edge portion (12b) has a greater number of twists.
