Abstract:
Provided is a fiber cord for rubber reinforcement which can be inhibited from causing dust scattering due to the scaling of a treatment agent therefrom and which is excellent in terms of fatigue resistance and heat resistance regarding adhesion between the fiber cord and rubbers. The fiber cord for rubber reinforcement includes two adhesive layers formed by dipping in a first treatment liquid and a second treatment liquid in this order, the first and second treatment liquids differing in composition. The first treatment liquid contains no chlorophenol compound, and the second treatment liquid contains a chlorophenol compound and a blocked isocyanate compound. Preferably, the first treatment liquid is a treatment liquid comprising a resorcin/formaldehyde latex (RFL) and a blocked isocyanate compound. The second treatment liquid preferably further contains a resorcin/formaldehyde latex (RFL).
