Provided is a feed-off-the-arm sewing machine in which the number of members and the number of connecting members are reduced so the feed-off-the-arm sewing machine is reduced in size and has rattling problems reduced.　The feed-off-the-arm sewing machine includes: a needle that reciprocates in synchronization with the rotation of a sewing machine spindle; a looper that forms a seam by capturing a needle thread loop in synchronization with the needle; a feed table having feed teeth at a front end; a needle holding table installed in parallel with the feed table and having a needle holder protecting the needle at a front end; and a needle holding table lever connected to the needle holding table at the front side, having an eccentric hole at the rear side, and connected to the sewing machine spindle via an eccentric, wherein long holes are formed in the feed table and the needle holding table, a fixing pin is fixed to a frame of the sewing machine through the long holes and square pieces installed in the long holes, the rear end of the needle holding table and the rear end of the feed table are connected and interlocked by the pin and square piece, and the eccentric moves the needle holding table elliptically and moves the feed table up and down by the pin and square piece at the rear end of the needle holding table and the rear end of the feed table.
