Abstract:
Provided is an eye observation device with which it is possible to obtain a clear intraocular or fundus image in observation of the inside of an eye using IR light. This eye observation device, which observes the interior of an eye being examined, is provided with an imaging unit 1 that captures a moving image of the interior of the eye being examined using infrared light, and an image generation unit 2 that generates a still fundus image or a still intraocular image from the moving image captured by the imaging unit 1. In the image generation unit 2, an image intake unit 21 takes in an image signal outputted from the imaging unit 1 and cuts out a region being observed, a marker detection unit 22 extracts a plurality of still image frames from the moving image from which the region being observed has been cut out by the image intake unit 21, an exclusion processing unit 23 assesses the extracted still image frames and excludes an image for which the positional displacement amount exceeds a threshold value from integration subjects, and an integration unit 24 integrates images assessed as being integration subjects and generates a fundus image or an intraocular image.
