Abstract:
This exhalation-fan-equipped mask spacer 1 comprises: a spacer part 2 that is substantially U-shaped and that is capable of engaging with the nostrils of a person wearing a mask 4; and an exhalation fan 3 that is integrally connected to a lower section of the spacer part 2 and that is equipped with a fan for drawing in air from the outside. The spacer part 2 has a pair of leg parts 2a, 2b extending upward from the left and right ends of an upper edge, thereby substantially forming a U-shape. When the exhalation-fan-equipped mask spacer 1 is worn, the spacer part 2 and the exhalation fan 3 form a prescribed angle, whereby an air ventilation space is formed near the wearer of the mask 4. Due to this configuration, the exhalation-fan-equipped mask spacer 1 makes it possible to more efficiently ventilate air residing within the mask 4 while reducing the risk of contamination by viruses.
