Abstract:
Provided is an escapement governor which has a large governor amplitude, and with which stable timekeeping accuracy can be obtained. An escapement governor 2 is provided with a balance wheel 31 which reciprocates rotationally with a fixed period, a drive wheel 41 of an intermittent transmission device 4, which is coaxially coupled to the balance wheel 31, a driven wheel 42 of the intermittent transmission device 4, which engages with the drive wheel 41, a regulating lever (anchor 54) which engages with an escape wheel 7 and which regulates the rotation of the escape wheel 7, and an impulse pin 52 which rotates integrally with the drive wheel 42 and which engages with the regulating lever, and this configuration makes it possible to achieve a remarkably large amplitude without over-rotation, even if the amplitude of the balance wheel exceeds approximately 340°.
