An energy storage mechanism (42) for a nail gun and a nail gun (10), the energy storage mechanism (42) comprising: an energy storage component (45) having an air cavity (453) for accommodating and storing air; an air filling component (46) mounted on the energy storage component (45) and used for adding air into the air cavity (453); and a pressure relief component (47) mounted on the energy storage component (45) and used for relieving the pressure in the air cavity (453). The energy storage component (45) is further provided with: an inner cylinder body (452) for mounting a striking mechanism (41); and an outer cylinder body (451) arranged on the outer side of the inner cylinder body (452), the air cavity (453) being formed between the outer cylinder body (451) and the inner cylinder body (452). The air cavity is arranged in the energy storage component, so that the energy storage mechanism of the nail gun has an air storage function and there is no need to connect a compressor to the nail gun to provide air when the nail gun is working; and the air cavity can be replenished with air and the pressure in the air cavity can be relieved as required.
