Abstract:
An energy-saving device for producing elongated steel by calendaring using smelting waste heat, comprising a multi-strand continuous casting machine (1), a multi-strand roller-hearth tunnel kiln (2), a roller-hearth traversing machine (3), a dispatching roller table and shift fork (4), a direct-rolling roller table (5), a direct-rolling sorting machine (6), a hot conveying roller table (8), a billet straightening machine (9), a hot conveying sorting machine (10), a billet heating furnace (11), and a calender (7). After passing through the multi-strand roller-hearth tunnel kiln and the roller-hearth traversing machine, the multi-strand billets produced by the continuous casting machine are dispatched and conveyed at a hot state by the dispatching roller table and shift fork, and the billets can be directly fed to the calender after passing through the direct-rolling roller table or be fed to the calender after continuously passing through the hot conveying roller table and the billet straightening machine and then being fed to the billet heating furnace and subjected to traversing heating. The present application also relates to an energy-saving method using the energy-saving device for producing elongated steel by calendaring using smelting waste heat, which achieves the functions of using smelting waste heat, consuming low energy for billet heating, and feeding to the calender by means of multiple routes. Compared with the traditional production method in which the steel billets produced by a continuous casting machine are collected by a roller-hearth traversing machine, and then fed into a billet heating furnace after being cooled, the present method can greatly reduce the energy consumption.
