Abstract:
Disclosed is an encapsulation structure of a battery cell. The encapsulation structure comprises a sealant and an encapsulation bag. The encapsulation bag comprises an accommodating space and a sealing edge for sealing the accommodating space, the direction in which a tab extends from the accommodating space to the outer side of the encapsulation bag is defined as a first direction, and in the first direction, the tab comprises a first area, a second area and a third area that are sequentially connected, the first area being electrically connected to an electrode assembly in the accommodating space, with the third area being exposed from the encapsulation bag, the sealant surrounding the second area, and the second area being arranged in the sealing edge; and the sealing edge comprises a first surface and a second surface that are arranged opposite each other, the first surface is provided with a protruding portion at the position corresponding to the sealant, the second surface is a flat surface, the first surface comprises a first sealing area and a non-sealing area that are sequentially connected in the first direction, the second surface comprises a second sealing area, and in the first direction, the width of the first sealing area is n, and the width of the second sealing area is m, wherein n < m. The encapsulation structure of the battery cell facilitates an improvement in the reliability of the battery cell.
