Abstract:
This electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided with a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer is a monolayer. The photosensitive layer contains a charge generating agent, a hole transport agent, and an electron transport agent, a binder resin, and an n-type pigment. The binder resin contains a polyarylate resin. The polyarylate resin includes at least one repeating unit represented by general formula (1) and at least one repeating unit represented by general formula (2). In general formula (1), a represents 1 or 2. In general formula (2), X represents a divalent group represented by chemical formula (X1), (X2), (X3), (X4), or (X5).
