Abstract:
This electronic timepiece comprises a time display part 3 for displaying the time on the basis of an internal time, a time setting part (movement 5) for setting the internal time on the basis of a reference time and time zone, an operation part 5 for at least carrying out a selection operation for selecting one time zone TZ from a plurality of time zones TZ, and a display part (facing ring 33) for showing time zone displays TD corresponding to each time zone TZ. The selection operation involves specifying a selected time zone display TD from among the plurality of time zone displays TD. Each of the plurality of time zone displays TD includes one or more first displays TD1 based on a time difference or a city or an area included in the time zone TZ and one or more second displays TD2 based on a landmark included in the time zone TZ. A user using the electronic timepiece can correctly select a time zone according to the user's purpose for changing the time zone.
