Abstract:
An electronic device and a method for providing a conversation function by using an avatar in a virtual space are provided. The electronic device can output, on the basis of data collected from an external electronic device in a network environment, a first conversation screen by using an avatar. The electronic device identifies a speaker from among participants on the basis of the collected data, and converts a camera angle on the basis of a speaker avatar corresponding to the identified speaker so as to configure a second conversation screen.
