Abstract:

Provided are an electronic device and method for managing power mode. A method by which an electronic device manages power mode comprises the operations of: when the battery level of the electronic device is lower than a first threshold, outputting a notification informing whether to execute a power saving mode of the electronic device; in response to a user input to the notification, setting a first setting value, indicating that the power saving mode is executed through the notification due to the lack of remaining battery power, to a value corresponding to activation; and executing the power saving mode as the power mode of the electronic device in response to the user input to the notification.
