Abstract:
Disclosed is an electrolytic capacitor 10 comprising: a wound capacitor element 20 having a pair of electrodes 21, 22; a bottomed cylindrical case 30 that has an opening on one end and in which the capacitor element 20 and an electrolyte are housed together; a pair of leads 40 electrically connected to the pair of electrodes 21, 22, respectively; and a sealing body 50 sealing the opening. The sealing body 50 includes: a first main surface 51 and a second main surface 52 opposite thereto, the main surfaces facing the inside of the case 30; a pair of passing holes 53 that are formed extending from the first main surface 51 to the second main surface 52 and through which the pair of leads 40 are passed; and at least one protruding portion 54 protruding from the first main surface 51 and positioned between the capacitor element 20 and the case 30. This makes it possible to prevent breaking of the leads.
