Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrolyte additive, and an electrolyte and a secondary battery which comprise same. According to the present invention, the provided secondary battery forms a stable film on various lithium secondary battery cathodes/anodes, including high-nickel, a Si anode, an LFP battery, a lithium manganese rich (LMR) battery, or a cobalt-free battery, so as to suppress a side reaction inside the battery, can enhance charging efficiency and output by having low charge/discharge resistance, can suppress an increase in battery resistance even if stored for a long time under high temperature conditions, also remarkably suppresses gas generation due to decomposition of electrolyte components so as to have excellent long-term lifespan and high-temperature capacity retention rate, and effectively scavenges hydrofluoric acid from among side reaction products caused by instability of a high-nickel cathode so as to suppress an increase in acidity of the electrolyte and elution of transition metal ions from the cathode, and thus has excellent battery characteristics and lifespan.
