Abstract:
An electrode assembly, comprising an electrode plate and an isolating layer (3). The electrode plate has a tab (6); the isolating layer (3) comprises a nanofiber porous substrate (7); the porosity α2 of the isolating layer (3) in a tab area (8) is greater than the porosity α1 of the isolating layer (3) in a non-tab non-corner area; the pore diameter d3 of the isolating layer (3) in a corner area (9) is greater than the pore diameter d1 of the isolating layer (3) in the non-tab non-corner area. By regulating and controlling uneven distribution of the porosity of the isolating layer (3), liquid retention requirements in different areas of the plate are satisfied. By improving the liquid retention in the tab area (8), different areas of the plate have different dynamics properties, so that a lithium plating problem is mitigated, and the safety of a lithium ion battery is improved.
