An electrode device for blocking or controlling nerves in the body, comprising: a main body comprising a shaft; and an electrode unit which is formed so as to protrude from one end of the shaft, blocks or controls nerves in at least a portion of a tube in the body, and comprises a base layer and an electrode layer disposed on the base layer, wherein the electrode unit comprises first electrodes disposed along a longitudinal direction of one side of the base layer, an electrode layer comprising second electrodes disposed along the longitudinal direction of the other side of the base layer, a current sensor part which is formed in an area between the first electrodes and the second electrodes and measures a current generated from the first electrodes or the second electrodes, a plurality of temperature sensor parts which are disposed at preset intervals between the first electrodes and the second electrodes and detect a temperature, and a control part which calculates a resistance through the current measured by the current sensor part and calculates a diameter of the tube in the body on the basis of the calculated resistance.
