TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to an electricity generating device comprising at least one piezo element capable of generating electricity by potential difference in itself when force is applied thereto.

PRIOR ART

Today, energy resources are very important for daily life, transportation and industry. Energy resources are limited in the world and existing reserves are decreasing day by day. The use of renewable energy sources is preferred more due to this decrease. New renewable energy generation systems are designed especially with the developing technology. Piezoelectric energy, which is among the renewable energy systems, remains up-to-date today. Motion energy is converted to electric energy with piezoelectricity.

Mechanical energy can be converted into electrical energy or electrical energy can be converted into mechanical energy with piezoelectric materials. Electric energy generation is provided by the forces applied to the piezoelectric material in the same direction. It is planned to convert the pressure force formed on the road surface to electrical energy at vehicle crossings by using piezo crystal on the roads in the application No. US7589428B2 known in the art. The patent cited above needs enormous investments and enormous changes to existing highways. Its preferability is low for this reason.

This piezoelectric structure is used in metro systems in another alternative. There is intense passenger activity along the route of getting off the vehicle and getting off the station, and getting off the station and getting on the vehicle. The generation of electricity from piezoelectric material located on the metro line is one of the experiments in the present art for this reason. However, major infrastructure changes are needed for the applicability of this system.

All the problems mentioned above have made it necessary to make an innovation in the relevant technical field as a result. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an electricity generating device in order to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages and to bring new advantages to the related technical field.

It is an object of the invention to provide an electricity generating device that can generate electricity by means of piezo elements.

Another object of the invention is to provide an electricity generating device that can generate electricity by means of magnetic energy.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The subject of the invention is explained with examples that do not have any limiting effect only for a better understanding of the subject in this detailed description.

A representative schematic view of the electricity generating device (1) of the invention is given in Figure 1. Accordingly, said electricity generating device (1) works according to the piezo electrical principle. Piezo electricity is the ability of crystalline bodies to generate electricity in proportion to the amount of pressure externally applied to them. The electricity generating device (1) has at least one piezo element (10). Said piezo element (10) is an element known in the art with the ability to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy or electrical energy into mechanical energy. Electrical energy generation occurs as a result of (+) and (-) loads on both sides of the crystal structure in the piezo element (10) during the force (compression/pull) applied to the piezo element (10) in the same direction. The application of force on the piezo element (10) can be in the form of pressing, pulling or in the form of stretching and bending. The piezo element (10) is associated with at least one first magnetic element (20) and at least one second magnetic element (21) in the electricity generating device (1). The first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) are located on opposite sides of the piezo element (10) in a possible embodiment of the invention. The first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) have magnetic properties and can be elements that can form a magnetic field (22) around them. The first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) may be a natural or artificial magnet with the feature of attracting substances such as Iron, Nickel, Cobalt.

The first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) comprise a permanent magnet (23) in a possible embodiment of the invention. Said permanent magnet (23) is a magnetic element that produces a magnetic field (22) without the need for excitation. The permanent magnet (23) may have large B-H curves, high permanent flux density and high anti-magnetic force. At least one ferromagnetic element (24) is located around the permanent magnet (23) on the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21). Said ferromagnetic element (24) can be made of materials such as Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, which can be magnetized in the same direction as the lines of the magnetic field (22) of that permanent magnet (23) while it is within the magnetic field (22) of the permanent magnet (23). The first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) have two poles on the permanent magnet (23). One of these poles will be called the N pole and the other pole will be called the S pole. There is a magnetic field (22) between the poles of the permanent magnet (23). Depending on the magnetic field (22) to be emitted by the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21), compressive and tensile forces are formed between them.

A representative schematic view of the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) located in the electricity generating device (1) of the invention is given in Figure 2. Accordingly, the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) are connected with at least one switching element (25). Said switching element (25) can position the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) in an open position (I) and a closed position (II). In said open position (I), the magnetic field (22) lines pass through the ferromagnetic element (24) from the N pole to the S pole and spread from the outside by energizing the permanent magnets (23) with the same poles in the same direction. It is ensured in this way that the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) give a magnetic force. In said closed position (II), the shortest and non-resistant path between the N poles and S poles of the permanent magnets (23) is provided through the ferromagnetic element (24). The magnetic field (22) of the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) is not emitted outside and the magnet feature is eliminated in this case.

The switching between the open position (I) and the closed position (II) is provided with the switching element (25) as mentioned. The energy required by the switching element (25) can be obtained from at least one energy source (30). Said energy source (30) mentioned here may be systems that currently generate electricity outside the cell/battery. The switching element (25) can be connected with the motion energy formed in such systems and can provide on-off. Thus, it can be used as a supporting element for existing systems. The energy source (30) may be a battery or an electrical network in a possible embodiment of the invention. The energy received from an energy source (30) such as the electricity network is much lower than the energy produced in the electricity generating device (1). The switching element (25) may need to be turned on and off continuously in this case. The circular-shaped permanent magnet (23) can be rotated around itself and its poles can be displaced by a drive element that can be located in the switching element (25) depending on the need as an example of the operation of the switching element (25).

The first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) are switched to the open position (I) by means of the switching element (25) in a possible embodiment of the invention. The first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) apply pressure to the piezo element (10) between them. This pressure enables the piezo element (10) to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy due to its structure. The pressure on the piezo element (10) is then removed by switching the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) to the closed position (II). The electricity generation is made continuous by repeating this process at a predetermined frequency by the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21). A resonance can be formed on the piezo element (10) by opening and closing the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) at a certain frequency value. The resonance effect occurring in a certain frequency range can cause the piezo element (10) to change shape more due to more vibration exposure and consequently generate more electricity. The power cord (41) produced in the piezo element (10) can be transferred to at least one energy unit (40). Said energy unit (40) may be a place where the electricity is directly used or a storage unit. Electricity can be used when needed in this way.

The efficiency obtained from the piezo element (10) can be increased with a hammer and/or similar system sensitive to the magnetic field (22) that can be added between the magnets and the piezo element (10) in the electricity generating device (1) in alternative embodiments of the invention. In addition, an alternative and advanced model can be created. In addition, the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) can be used as a component in an electronic device other than for the purpose of electricity production since they have an electro-magnetic structure.

The required pressure force of the piezo element (10) in the electricity generating device (1) can be provided with the first magnetic element (20) and the second magnetic element (21) without using electricity considering this whole embodiment. Electricity can be generated at low costs in this way. The electricity generating device (1) can be used in electricity generation alone or as a supporting element in systems that currently generate electricity.

The scope of protection of the invention is specified in the attached claims and cannot be limited to those explained for sampling purposes in this detailed description. It is evident that a person skilled in the art may exhibit similar embodiments in light of above-mentioned facts without drifting apart from the main theme of the invention.
