Abstract:
An electrical contact according to the present disclosure comprises: a first work function contact region (1) having an electroconductive component and an arcing-resistant component; and a second work function contact region (2) having a low-work-function ceramic component that has a work function of 3 eV or lower, an electroconductive component, and an arcing-resistant component, the second work function contact region (2) having a lower work function than the first work function contact region. A plurality of the first work function contact regions (2) and a plurality of the second work function contact regions (2) are alternatingly disposed in the form of a band. A circuit breaker and an electromagnetic contactor according to the present disclosure each comprise the electrical contact.
