Abstract:
An electric power conversion apparatus (100_1) included in a self-excited DC power transmission system (400) connected to an AC system (300) comprises a self-excited converter (6_1) and a control apparatus (5_1). The control apparatus further includes: a storage unit (207) that stores each of a plurality of pieces of first vibration information by associating the first vibration information with a first control parameter of the self-excited converter; a vibration detection unit (203) that detects vibrational components of AC voltage of the AC system; a determination unit (205) that determines presence or absence in the plurality of pieces of first vibration information of first similar vibration information, which is information similar to first detected vibration information containing the detected vibrational components of the AC voltage of the AC system; and a setting unit (209) that sets, in the presence of the first similar vibration information, the first control parameter associated with the first similar vibration information as a new control parameter for the self-excited converter.
