Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric compressor such that is possible to improve quietness after the input of a stopping command. [Solution] This electronic compressor includes a control unit MC that controls the driving of a motor M. A stopping instruction for the motor M is externally input, and the control unit MC executes: synchronization deceleration control for reducing the rotation number of a rotor M2 through forced synchronization control via a current of a specified target current value, said synchronization deceleration control being performed with the condition that the rotation number is a specified first rotation number N1 or less, and is greater than a specified second rotation number N2; and stopping control for stopping the rotation of the rotor M2 through braking control in which the driving of specified switching elements IGBT (Q1, Q4, Q6, etc.) among a plurality of switching elements is controlled so as to impart a load to the motor M, said stopping control being performed with the condition that the rotation number has reached the second rotation number N2 via the synchronization deceleration control.
