Abstract:
This electric blower is provided with an intake port (4) provided in an impeller (1), a first flow passage (17) which passes through a flow passage of an axial flow type diffuser (23, 24), an end bracket (13) which holds a bearing (11) on the impeller (1) side, and in which an opening portion (15) is provided, a second flow passage (14) of which at least a portion of the flow passage passes the outer periphery of a stator (8) and passes the opening portion (15), a third flow passage (35) which passes the opening portion (15), and which is formed from an inner wall of a stator core (8) and a plurality of windings (34), and a connecting portion (28) connecting the first flow passage (17), the second flow passage (14), and the third flow passage (35), wherein: the second flow passage (14) is positioned farther from the impeller (1) than the connecting portion (28); and the opening surface area of the opening portion (15) has a size at least equal to the flow passage cross-sectional area of the connecting portion (28).
