Description:
Electric bike

Utility model applies to the field of machine engineering, primarily to the construction of the electric bike, designed for heavy loads.

A known electric bike, that consists of an external double frame, on which a steering fork with a handlebars and a front wheel with a hub is hinged in front, and a rear wheel with a hub is fixed behind, both wheels are rotatable, and a seat is also fixed on the external double frame, and in an inner double frame is built into the outer double frame, and the outer double frame and the inner double frame are connected to each other both directly and additionally with the help of two rigid fastening elements with cutouts in which the motor-wheel is installed between the rigid fastening elements, the gear is rigidly fixed on the motor-wheel and connected by a chain drive to the gear fixed on the hub of the rear wheel, the motor-wheel is connected through the controller to the battery, and one wheel contains the brake mechanism, the accelerator handle is also connected to the controller, each double frame made of two pipes, rigidly connected to each other by structural connectors and rigid elements (patent of the RF No. 184670, IPC B62K 11/00, publ. 02.11.2018).

The disadvantage of the well-known electric bike is the light protection of the electrical and electronic units to the adverse effects of the environment. In addition, such a design does not allow movement with the help of muscle power and therefore, in fact, is not a bike. It is also a mandatory condition that the installation area of the unit should be placed in such a way that the center of gravity of the electric bike does not rise to an undesirable value when pedaling. In addition, non-conventional bike frame is designed to withstand twisting of the wheel axle, especially when using an aluminum fork/frame, when the axle is rotated by a powerful high-torque electric motor (hereafter motor- wheel). The motor- wheel rotates the rim, resting on the axis, that is, the axis of the wheel is used as a fulcrum, which it tries to turn in the other direction. The fork/frame splines can fail and break, causing the frame to collapse while riding.

Simply strengthening the mechanical structure of a classic bike does not bring the desired result. Practical attempts to strengthen standard frames have been unsuccessful. Despite all the improvements, the frame still collapses. Both bolted fasteners and welded joints are destroyed.

The basis of a utility model is the task of creating an electric bike, which would have a strengthened structure, more stable during movement, simplified installation and maintenance. The closest utility model to an electric bike is an electric bike containing an external double frame (hereinafter the frame), on which a steering fork with a handlebars (hereinafter a fork with a handlebars ) and a front wheel with a hub is hinged in front, and a rear wheel with a hub is attached at the back, also the seat is fixed to the outer double frame, the inner double frame is built into the outer double frame, while each double frame is a spatial structure made of profiled pipes, rigidly connected to each other by connected fastening elements with cutouts; the fastening elements have a triangular shape, and at least three of such elements are located in the front part of the outer double frame, and one element is fixed in the rear part of the outer double frame, inside the structure is reinforced with vertical elements in the form of a comer made with the possibility of horizontal movement, while the seat fixed on the outer double frame on a triangular element, the rear motor-wheel, which is connected to the battery pack and the controller, is fixed through the shockabsorbing element, which is fixed on one side to the outer double frame, and on the other side to the movable pendulum, which is hinged to the outer double frame; contains an electric motor; a transmission with a sprocket and pedals is installed in the lower part of the outer double frame, and a rotation sensor is connected to the transmission; contains a gas handle, proximity sensors, a positioning system, an onboard computer and an alarm system (Patent of UA 137274, IPC B62K 11/04, B62M 7/02, B62M 7/04, publ. 10.10.2019, Bull. No. 19 ).

The disadvantages of this electric bike are the complexity of the design and the low efficiency of its operation.

The goal of a utility model is to create such an electric bike, in which, due to structural changes, the design is simplified and the efficiency of its operation is increased.

The task is achieved by the fact that an electric bike containing a frame on which a fork with a handlebar is fixed, on which there are two brake handles with limit switches, a gas handle and a gear shift handle; driven front wheel, leading rear wheel with an electric motor, which is connected to the controller and battery pack; seats, levers with pedals on which the leading sprockets are placed; the battery pack is connected to the controller and electric motor; on the leading rear wheel, the rear sprocket cassette and the gear shifting mechanism are fixed using a threaded connection; the cassette of rear sprockets is connected by a chain transmission to a set of leading sprockets, which are located on a lever with pedals; brake levers are connected to the controller and brake mechanisms, which are located on the wheels; the gas handle is connected through the controller to the electric motor; the gear shift knob is connected to the gear shift mechanism; bike stand, front shield, rear shield, pendulum, light devices and additional control devices; the battery pack is located in the frame; the bike stand is connected to the frame; the front shield is located above the front wheel and is connected to the fork; the rear shield is located above the leading rear wheel and connected to the pendulum, the carrier is located above the leading rear wheel and connected to the frame; the pendulum is connected to the frame and the leading rear wheel; light devices are located on the fork and in the back of the frame and wheels and are connected to the battery pack, additional control devices are located on the fork and are connected to the controller and battery pack;

- the frame is a spatial frameless structure made of sheet material;

- the frame foldable and contains an upper part, a lower part and at least two side parts;

- the pendulum is connected to the frame using a shock-absorbing element at an angle of 30° - 50° to the horizon;

- light elements are headlights, lanterns, taillights;

- additional control devices include turn signals, motion sensors, alarms, etc.

After that, the electric motor 25 is turned on with the help of the controller 19 and the battery pack 7. The electric motor 25 activates the leading rear wheel 6, which, moving, activates the driven front wheel 12, the movement begins. During movement, if necessary, the speed increases with the help of the gas handle 4, which is connected through the controller 19 to the electric motor 25. And with the help of the gear shift knob 24, which is connected to the gear shifting mechanism 26, the speed of movement is changed. At night or if needed, the headlight 20, which is located on the frame structure 1 and is connected to the battery pack 7, is turned on. When turning, the turning devices 27 are turned on.

In the case of using levers with pedals 9, stopping occurs with the help of brake handles 3 and brake mechanisms 14, 15, which stop the driven front wheel 12 and the leading rear wheel 6.

The increase in the prices of energy resources causes the need for the development of new and improvement of the existing structural methods of transportation and movement, which are set in motion by human muscle power. In particular, such constructive solutions are electric bikes, which can be powered by electricity and human muscle power.

Today, there are many electric bikes that will allow you to travel at any distance and cargo transportation. However, existing designs and structural solutions have a number of disadvantages, the main of which are the complexity of the structure and low efficiency of operation due to rigid movement, low maneuverability and inconvenient access for maintenance of the battery pack. This does not allow the widespread use of electric bikes for movement in the conditions of the city, suburbs and rural areas (on secondary roads).

The developed electric bike, due to the introduced structural changes, eliminates the specified cons. Thus, the introduction of a pendulum with a shockabsorbing element at an angle to the horizon of 30°-50° allows to achieve greater smoothness of movement and maneuverability. Additional structural elements: front shield, rear shield and trunk, allow to create more favorable conditions for cargo transportation. The complex structure of the frame, which includes the upper part, the lower part and at least two side parts, allows to create more convenient conditions for maintenance and, if necessary, replacement of the battery pack, which simplifies the design and significantly increases the efficiency of its operation.

The developed design of the electric bike creates conditions for its wide use by residents of the city, rural areas and roads with a complex configuration (steep ups and downs), as well as for employees of various delivery services. Because it provides smooth movement and reliability during operation.

The proposed electric bike has working samples that have received favorable reviews from both consumers and industry specialists.
