Electric appliances to which power-tool lithium batteries can be attached as a power source have conventionally been restricted to the limited scope of photo frames and audio devices, and heat using-type electric appliances such as coffee makers, electric kettles, and electric stoves. The purpose of the present invention is to enable a power-tool battery pack to be attached, as a power source, to a wider range of electric appliances so that the appliances can be made cordless and convenience is improved. A hot/cold storage (10) is configured such that a heat retaining part (11) for accommodating an object of heat retention (15) retains heat by means of the heating function of a Peltier element serving as a heat source (12). A slide-on battery pack (1) is used as the power source of the Peltier element. The battery pack (1) can be detached and charged and used as the power source of a power tool such as a screwdriver. In addition to the warm-cold storage (10), the invention can be applied to an iron or a rice cooker.
