Abstract:
This eating utensil used in eating comprises a first sensor that detects changes in capacitance using a prescribed method, a second sensor that detects changes in capacitance using a method that differs from the prescribed method in terms of the changes in capacitance when water droplets adhere, an assessment unit that assesses the state of the eating utensil on the basis of the detection results from the first and second sensors, and an output unit that outputs the result of assessment by the assessment unit to an external unit.
